Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive assessments of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide crucial intraoperative support, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and passing instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
