Role Definition
As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst with Caterpillar, in this role you will assist in many of the day-to-day activities as well as participate with facility teams to develop material flow plans and pull material replenishment plans, to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets.
What you will do
- Provide day to day logistics planning support including monitoring, reporting, and analyzing data to improve efficiencies in the overall material flow process from Receiving Dock to POU (Point of Use) including Warehouse.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Logistics team to identify and execute safety, quality, storage, and productivity improvement opportunities
- Develop Logistics Standard Work and coordinates the auditing process
- Monitor aged inventory in bullpens to ensure logistics turns between warehouse and factory are improving
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers in developing and improving the assembly flow layout for part presentation and storage
- Optimize Inventory reduction activities
Degree Requirement
- Degree or equivalent experience desired
What Skills You Will Have
- Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
resolution. - Supply Chain Management - MFG: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
Top candidates will also have
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
- Three years of progressive responsibility with experience in supply chain, manufacturing or logistics
- Experience and knowledge about supply chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment using material replenishment tools and processes
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive common supply chain processes across multiple departments within a business division.
- Experience and knowledge of complex lean concepts and tools
- Strong understanding of common supply chain systems
- A background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing / Operations, Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning, Demand Management and/or Logistics is desired.

- This position will close on 5/15/2026 at 11:59 pm.
- This position will be located onsite 5 days a week in East Peoria, IL (Building KK).
- Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position.

- This position may require less than 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$72,360.00 - $108,540.00
