Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for managing the order-to-delivery supply chain. This role ensures the availability of critical commodities to support manufacturing and distribution operations. You will develop and implement integrated supply chain strategies, optimize logistics, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.
This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic leader with deep expertise in forecasting, inventory management, supplier relations, and manufacturing planning. You will oversee logistics specialists, manage performance metrics, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach logistics specialists; oversee hiring, training, and performance development.
- Develop integrated supply chain processes across procurement, operations, logistics, and distribution.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and facilities teams to align production schedules and delivery expectations.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for supply chain planning and forecasting.
- Present performance metrics and strategic insights to senior management.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality standards and compliance.
- Optimize inventory levels across multiple locations to meet internal and external requirements.
- Implement logistics systems to track shipment status and delivery timelines.
- Drive continuous improvement in MRP and forecasting processes.
Preferred Background
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Proven leadership in supply chain operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, forecasting software, and MRP tools.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

- Apply diverse analytical tools to resolve supply chain challenges.

- Evaluate decision options and predict impact.
- Use consultative and consensus-based approaches to guide decisions.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Coordinate capacity and materials planning for net demand.
- Adjust plans based on forecasts and custom orders.
Inventory Management
- Ensure inventory levels meet operational needs.
- Apply systems to identify and resolve inventory conflicts.
Logistics Management
- Manage logistics processes and implement monitoring systems.
- Negotiate contracts and maintain service levels with carriers.
Education
- Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management or equivalent experience desired
Summary Pay Range:
$159,120.00 - $238,680.00
