Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe Purchasing Clerk manages the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of hospital supplies to ensure smooth daily operations. They maintain accurate documentation, inventory control, and timely fulfillment of departmental requests while collaborating with hospital staff. The role also involves data entry, organizing supply areas, and safely operating equipment to support efficient materials management.Our Values:

Key Responsibilities
- Maintains strong knowledge of hospital supplies to perform job duties efficiently and accurately.
- Receives and processes incoming supplies and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Communicates effectively with department managers and staff, responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Utilizes computer systems for accurate data entry, documentation, and maintaining organized records and workspaces.
- Manages inventory by stocking supplies, fulfilling requisitions, delivering items, and supporting inventory control processes.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment for all hospital specialties
- Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Computer literacy and proficiency
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Van Nuys and Hollywood Only)
- One (1) year previous experience working in a warehouse/purchasing clerk role
- Knowledge in Inventory Control functions
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $19.10 - $28.80 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
