Shipping Warehouse Associate Job Summary: Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations by contributing to a positive customer experience.
- Learn and navigate the warehouse/yard layout, bin location system, and product Etna stocks.
- Handle all materials, products, and equipment with care to prevent damage.
- Accurately gather and assemble materials for shipment or counter pick-up.
- Verify work to prevent shipping and inventory errors.
- Clearly mark all outgoing products with the customer's name and carton count.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely and responsibly.
- Properly stage all completed orders in designated shipping areas.
- Assist with general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehouse and yard.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of plumbing and/or waterworks products with a strong understanding of product applications.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and stress management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while adapting easily to changing situations.
- Proficient computer skills; experience with Eclipse software is a plus.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma; or
- Six months warehouse experience; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
- Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.

- Frequently required to talk, hear walk, sit, stand, push, pull, carry, grasp, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, reach; and lift 50 lbs occasionally required to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to fulfill the essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and a safe manner.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more, depth perception, and color vision.
- Work performed mostly inside but do have to go outside at times with possible exposure to extreme weather.
