The Warehouse & Logistics Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing stock, and preparing orders for shipment to meet customer and company demands. The associate collaborates closely with logistics teams to coordinate timely transportation and delivery of products, optimizing supply chain operations. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics support.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks with valid certification.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Previous experience using advanced warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments to verify contents and condition.
- Organize and store inventory systematically to maximize space utilization and ease of access.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule and track outbound deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory data and generate reports.
- Assist in regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or operational issues promptly to supervisors.
