Responsibilities
Summary:
The Warehouse Lead position directs the team of warehouse associates while working in the operation daily. Additional tasks for this position include assisting the Warehouse Supervisors in the daily warehouse operations, including receiving and distribution of Cardio Partners products and the BioMed and service departments. This position is also responsible for meeting compliance requirements for hazardous materials shipping. The Lead will also assist in inventory discrepancy investigation and reconciliation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Become the subject matter expert for shipping of lithium batteries and other hazardous materials both air and ground. Process all Hazmat orders daily.
• Ability to help prioritize and drive outbound workflow.
• Work in the Inbound and Outbound operation daily, monitor the flow of work to ensure the team is meeting expectations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with teams outside of the warehouse and translate to internal staff.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Train employees on process changes and quality improvements.
• Back up the Inbound Supervisor and/or Outbound Supervisor during absences.
Skills/Experience Required:
• A minimum of three years warehouse experience in a high-volume pick pack operation.
• Experience in the manufacturing/ wholesale distribution of drugs and or medical devices preferred.
• Experience with BC/D365 or F&O warehouse management system (WMS) a plus.
• Trained operator of material handling equipment forklift, pallet jack, etc.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SME in Excel.
• Able to operate UPS/FEDEX online software preferred.
• Monitor production, determine where bottlenecks are in the operation. Be self-directed and able to prioritize where your time is most impactful to the operation daily.
• Ability to solve problems and multi-task.
• Knowledge of Biomed equipment and basic repairs process.
• Organized and efficient. Able to organize, prioritize and delegate work.
• Experience in FedEx & UPS ship station software is desired
• Other projects and job duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long continuous periods of time.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 15 feet.
• May engage in some repetitive motion.
• May engage in frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.
• Ability to continuously walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance.
• Ability to continuously lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh 50+ pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
