GA Foods is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator Relief Driver for our Clossman unit in Hamilton, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in warehouse operations while also supporting delivery routes as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety focused, and compassionate toward the communities we serve.
Warehouse Coordinator Essential Duties
Creates, enters, and maintains transfer orders
Coordinates daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow
Ensures trucks are properly loaded and offloaded according to procedures
Ensures all shipments are prepared, staged, and shipped accurately and on time
Oversees warehouse staff to ensure quality control and adherence to policies
Verifies employee clock in and clock out times as required
Conducts physical inventory counts and submits reports to appropriate personnel
Supports special projects as assigned
Maintains warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards
Completes and maintains required paperwork and records
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Relief Driver Essential Duties
Safely delivers food items and supplies to customer sites in a timely and accurate manner
Maintains cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle
Reports vehicle issues, route concerns, or delivery problems to supervisor promptly
Maintains driver scorecard and required delivery documentation
Performs routine vehicle inspections, including fluid levels and general condition
Assists with packing, staging, and storage of food items and supplies as needed
Maintains regular and reliable attendance to meet delivery schedules
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry
Ability to operate general office equipment
Forklift experience preferred
Pallet jack experience required
Some coordination or supervisory experience preferred
Valid Ohio driver's license with no DUI in the last five years and zero to four current points
Must have a current DOT medical card or be able to pass the DOT medical examination
Strong communication and customer service skills
Prior warehouse and delivery experience preferred
Experience using fleet routing GPS and electronic signature tablet technology preferred
Ability to pass criminal background check and pre employment drug screening
Physical Demands
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Ability to talk and hear
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in wet or humid conditions not related to weather
Ability to work near moving mechanical equipment
Exposure to outdoor conditions including heat and cold not related to weather
Exposure to moderate noise levels
