Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide outstanding respiratory care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will work a flexible schedule, encompassing night shifts with weekends and holidays as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Operate and manage various ventilators, including Hamilton and Servo models.
- Perform airway management and assist with intrahospital transport of patients.
- Utilize respiratory equipment and techniques such as aerosolized medications, cough assist, and NAVA.
- Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Two or more years of experience in a PICU and/or a Level III or greater NICU setting.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
- RRT preferred; CRT may be considered based on experience.
