Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with weekend rotation and holidays as scheduled
• Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 4-week schedule (weekends include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts)
• Preference scheduling permitted with weekend commitment
• Perform 20-25 treatments per day in NICU or PICU settings
• Must have 2 or more years experience working in PICU and/or level III or greater NICU
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (AHA)
• RRT preferred over CRT
• Provide all aspects of respiratory care including aerogen, Volara, cough assist, IPV, NAVA
• Work with Hamilton and Servo ventilators, airway management, intrahospital transport
• Assist with intubation procedures (not required to intubate independently)
• Work with pediatric and neonatal patients exclusively
• Equipment includes Hamilton and Servo ventilators, Respironics & Hamilton BiPAP, Fisher Paykel HFNC
• Dress code: Stone/light gray scrubs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Department-specific orientation provided based on previous experience
• No floating requirements or call/standby responsibilities
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract

The facility maintains high staffing ratios with 8 respiratory therapists per shift and features advanced respiratory care capabilities including level III NICU services.
