Job Summary
A Logistics Engineer Analyst is needed to support integrated logistics support (ILS) activities and system engineering analysis for a major defense weapon system program. The role involves developing logistics support packages, analyzing engineering changes, supporting training and documentation development, and collaborating with engineering teams and senior stakeholders. The position requires strong experience in logistics management, operational analysis, and documentation for complex weapon systems.

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret clearance is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Requirements
Prior Navy experience is required
Minimum 5 years of professional or operational experience developing logistics support requirements and documentation for major defense weapon systems that utilize government and commercial products
Minimum 3 years of experience performing logistics management functions, including development of training materials and embedded training for major weapon, combat, or fire control systems
Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities
Participate in logistics engineering working groups and technical meetings
Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) representation during program discussions and evaluate impacts of proposed system changes
Develop source materials for ILS products and logistics documentation
Ensure engineering changes are incorporated into technical, operational, and maintenance documentation
Support the design and management of secure databases used to track product modification progress for logistics support materials
Serve as the primary logistics coordination representative for the weapons control system documentation and support materials
Develop and present logistics and program impact briefings for program stakeholders
Review system requirements and identify training and operational impacts
Develop training and logistics impact assessments for system change proposals
Provide fleet support representation for change packages and technical documentation updates
Prepare and present system engineering change request reports, including impact analysis and recommendations
Coordinate with engineering and software teams to update procedural workarounds and documentation
Evaluate and manage high-priority change requests and associated logistics impacts
Track and manage documentation review processes, collect feedback, and coordinate updates
Provide subject matter expertise in system testing, including requirements review, test planning, execution, and evaluation
Develop Integrated Logistics Support impact statements for new system enhancements
Preferred Skills and Experience
In-depth knowledge of naval defense systems and operations
Experience with Microsoft Access and Jira for documentation and tracking activities
Education
Relevant Navy technical schooling related to fire control or weapons systems operations is preferred.
