Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. Over half of Diageo's 30,000+ people work in Supply Chain and Manufacturing. It's an intricate and sophisticated operation that's the product of logistical, manufacturing, and technical collaborations.
About the team
The Diageo Supply FP&A organization is responsible for all the liquid production, packaging and transportation of products Globally. Over and above this covers all Supply related global roles including FP&A and CoE.
Supply FP&A Procurement roles are at the heart of the Finance Operating Model, providing valuable guidance and support to the organization owning the performance agenda including delivery of all financial metrics whilst ensuring a robust control and risk management environment.
About the role
Top Accountabilities
- Deliver monthly management reporting processes (various BPM reports, Regional and Category Tier meetings, Procurement - Finance alignment calls), also prepare and present decks for the related review meetings
- Owner of the preparation and submission of Procurement Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan
- Play a key role in ensuring completeness of regional/market figures for Supply cost categories and cash reporting
- Act as single point of finance contact for the regional Procurement Leadership Team as well as market FDs and Financial Teams
- Support finance processes and decision making where business judgement is needed; provide accurate, thorough and timely analysis as needs are identified or requested
About You
- Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
- Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
- 5-6 years experience in relevant area
- Strong accounting experience, SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Experience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantage
- Strong financial / commercial analysis background, proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels and the ability to flex to different market environments/ cultures
- Have an excellent understanding of analytics and data visualization solutions with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision making
