Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Japan-specific Asset Management platforms that integrate seamlessly with global applications and a centralized data architecture. This role sits within a dedicated product pod and plays a critical part in shaping product strategy, driving end-to-end delivery, and ensuring alignment between local business needs and global technology standards.

With multiple upcoming business and technology initiatives, this role offers the opportunity to influence product direction, work closely with regional and global stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Japan-focused Asset Management platforms
• Ensure alignment with global target architecture while addressing local market requirements
• Gather, prioritize, and structure epics in collaboration with the Product Owner and key stakeholders
• Translate business outcomes into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities
• Drive transparent and effective communication across business and technology teams, both locally and globally
• Guide end-to-end product delivery in partnership with the pod, users, and global teams
• Capture product updates and proactively manage risks and issues for governance and reporting forums

Requirements

• Background in Product Management, Business Analysis or Technology Delivery
• Proven ability to translate business needs into product roadmaps and detailed specifications
• Experience setting and delivering outcome-driven goals (e.g., Objectives and Key Results)
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and backlog management
• Solid understanding of data integration, APIs, and cloud-based architectures
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in financial services, particularly asset or wealth management, is highly desirable
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese is a strong advantage
