Location: Fort Worth 2101

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 / hour
Procurement & Inventory Specialist
The Procurement & Inventory Specialist is responsible for overseeing purchasing, order tracking, shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the purchasing, engineering, and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Purchasing parts and requesting purchase quotes (when required).
- Maintaining current part-specific purchasing information.
- Generating and submitting purchase orders.
- Working with suppliers on target and expedited delivery dates.
- Monitoring on-time delivery and addressing late deliveries with suppliers.
- Monitoring and communicating status of back orders.
- Communicating with warehouse managers for Reman & Osprey when needed.
- Prepare, package, and ship items in compliance with company policies and carrier standards.
- Receive, inspect, and reconcile incoming equipment against purchase orders; promptly report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including performing cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Update and track equipment and materials in company systems to ensure data accuracy.
- Support continuous process improvements in logistics, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
- High school degree or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred). Equivalent work experience accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training in purchasing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with ERP/IMS/WMS systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, NetSuite, QAP, Odoo).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple orders and shipments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of shipping carriers, packaging standards, and documentation requirements.
- Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and travel infrequently.
- Physical capability to receive and store equipment safely (forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification).
- Purchasing and understanding of purchasing practices and procedures.
- Ability to learn and work with Navision, D365 or similar ERP / EMS systems.
- Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments.

- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technology environments.
- Knowledge of international shipping processes, customs, and tariffs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365, SAP, QAP, Odoo).
- APICS CPIM/CSCP or Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) credentials.
- Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt) or other process improvement certifications.
- Advanced Excel skills such as lookup and reference functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
- PivotTables and Pivot Charts to summarize inventory levels and order status.
- Data validation and conditional formatting to ensure accuracy and flag discrepancies.
- Power Query to import, clean, and transform data from ERP/IMS/WMS systems or vendors.
- Basic dashboard and report creation to present key metrics to management.
