Description

• Support Head of Management Reporting in day-to-day activities for both the Investment and corporate bank, London branch, including reporting under the CIB umbrella
• Assist in the production and review of monthly reporting, including the Management Committee report and CIB report.
• Support the monthly expense forecasting and annual business plan process.
• Support monthly reporting of results to Tokyo Head office, including but not limited to the weekly Forecast, Actual and Budget.
• Get involved in conducting regular performance meetings with Front and Back offices in terms of understanding their expense results and identifying opportunities for savings.
• Analyse expense trends and provide comments on comparison against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Have a thorough understanding of a multi-departmental entity and cost allocation model and support the team in the monthly allocations.
• Support the rollout of new Oracle Cloud implementation within Finance in relation to various Management reporting activities
• Support various adhoc requests that may come up from time to time

Experience

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.)
• Experience in using Oracle Hyperion and Essbase would be an advantage
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Good team player, proactive attitude with ability to work on own initiative.
• Good eye for detail with ability to present findings to others clearly.
• Good communication skills with ability to effectively present technical data to non-technical managers across the business.
• Strong data manipulation, analysis and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of accounting concepts
