LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

SAM Management and Marketing Inc. (DBA Context Custom) seeks a full-time Logistics Specialist in Houston, TX.

Job Duties:

Plan and execute international import shipments from origin to destination. Prepare and manage all documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearance and regulatory compliance. Monitor shipment status, troubleshoot and resolve delays, discrepancies, or delivery issues. Track landed costs and maintain accurate import records to support strategic procurement and inventory planning. Optimize transportation costs by evaluating vendor performance, negotiating rates, and identifying efficiency opportunities. Stay current on international trade laws, import/export requirements, and customs regulations.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field, and 24 months of experience in the job offered, including 12 months of experience coordinating international logistics operations, managing customs documentation, and compliance protocols.
