Logistics Integration SpecialistLogistics Integration Specialist Quantico, VA The Logistics Specialist serves as an observer and trainer for the MAGTF Staff Training Program's (MSTP) MAGTF Operations Center Training Team (MOCTT). This role focuses on training and mentoring logistics warfighting staff at JTF, MEF, and MSC-level watch floors. The specialist monitors watch floor personnel during exercises, providing real-time guidance and mentorship. After each exercise, they prepare detailed observation reports and actionable recommendations to enhance performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Observe watch floor operations and identify logistics-related gaps, decision points, and performance trends; translate observations into training objectives, training scenario events, and curriculum updates.
- Advise and mentor logistics (G4/J4) within MEF/MSC or joint staff planning and execution, ensuring logistics feasibility, sustainability, and synchronization with operational timelines.
- Develop and brief MEF level logistics products (e.g., estimates, concepts, synchronization matrices, briefs) that support training events and operational-style scenarios.
- Provide subject matter support planning across sustainment functions (supply, maintenance, transportation, movement control, hazardous material considerations) to enable realistic training and staff integration.
- Deliver engaging instruction
- Evaluate performance and provide actionable feedback to individuals and staff.
- Contribute to training design and continuous improvement by maintaining awareness of best practices, emerging trends, and applicable joint/service procedures; refine lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises accordingly.
- Master's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Prior military experience at O3O6 or E8E9 level.
- Senior-level logistics planner/integrator with 10+ years and recent experience advising senior staff.
- Supporting Key Military Units: JTF, MEF, MSC (within G4/J4)
- Joint Logistics Planning: OPLANs, CONPLANs development, feasibility and sustainability assessment
- Resource Allocation: Among components and commands
- (Prefer) Experience supporting military units, exercise participation, familiarity with USTRANSCOM,
- knowledge of systems and processes, understanding of joint logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Logistics operational experience (G4/J4) at JTF/MEF/MSC level (planning and/or execution).
- Experience with deployment & distribution / force flow planning and synchronization (air/sea/surface coordination).
- Demonstrated ability to produce staff-level products and brief senior audiences.
- Familiarity with USTRANSCOM enterprise coordination (e.g., AMC/MSC/SDDC) and the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE).
- Familiarity with logistics/deployment tracking and movement visibility systems used in joint/USMC contexts.
- Curriculum development or instructional systems design (ISD) experience, including updating lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises.
- Adult-learning instructional delivery experience (classroom and/or field/virtual).
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative training programs on logistics and supply chain management principles, processes, and procedures.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methodologies, including lectures, discussions, case studies, simulations, and practical exercises.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain current knowledge of logistics best practices and emerging trends.
- Develop and update training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and handouts.
- Mentor and coach senior staff members.
- Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
- May be required to lift awkward sized items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work an unstable schedule, to include holidays and weekends.
- May be required to work in inclement temperatures from 100 degrees to -25 degrees.
- Occasional travel will be required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
- Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility is required for this position.
