Logistics Integration SpecialistLogistics Integration Specialist Quantico, VA The MOCTT Logistics Integration Specialist is responsible for understanding, planning, coordinating, and executing complex logistical operations in support of military deployments, exercises, and humanitarian assistance/disaster relief efforts. Additionally, this role requires demonstrated instructional expertise to develop and deliver training programs related to logistics and supply chain management. This position demands a deep understanding of supply chain management, operational planning, joint logistics principles, and adult learning methodologies. Additional understanding of the integration of the Logistics War Fighting Function on a MEF/MEU/DIV or Joint Staff. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and instructional skills, and be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supply Chain Management:
- Conduct demand forecasting to anticipate operational requirements.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely resupply of critical materials.
- Coordinate transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Develop comprehensive logistical plans to support missions and exercises at the Division and MEF Level.
- Coordinate with inter-unit and inter-agency partners to synchronize operations.
- Anticipate logistical challenges and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Plan and coordinate movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Execute and manage allocation, distribution, and tracking of resources.
- Sustain and support deployed forces, including resupply, maintenance, and communications.
- Provide Operational Contract Support (OCS) oversight.
- Manage financial aspects of logistics operations, ensuring accountability.
- Operate and maintain Joint Logistics Information Systems for real-time visibility.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to logistics operations.
- Operate Link Management and Monitoring Tool (LMMT) and Tactical Data Analysis & Connectivity System (TDACS).
- Support exercise planning, including development of Curriculum Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects designed to test logistics functions and program requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Formal training on C2 systems covering both operations and system administration.
- Formal School Instructor/Basic Instructor Course, or service equivalent.
- Officer/SNCO career level school or service equivalent.
- Prior military experience at O5O6 or E8E9 level.
- Supporting key military units including MEF, MLG, and Marine Infantry Divisions in G4/J4 roles.
- Participation in exercises and deployments such as ITX, DFT, and HA/DR operations.
- Coordination with component commands including USTRANSCOM (AMC, MSC, SDDC) for airlift, sealift, and surface transport.
- Familiarity with Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE), including collaboration with commercial and international partners.
- Expertise in Global Command and Control Systems for tracking shipments and managing global transportation.
- Knowledge of deployment and distribution processes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in crisis response and humanitarian assistance operations.
- Joint logistics planning experience, including OPLANs and CONPLANs development, feasibility assessments, and sustainability evaluations.
- Proven ability to coordinate interoperable logistics across services and international partners.
- Experience in resource allocation among components and commands.
- Synchronization of logistical activities with operational timelines.
- Multinational coordination experience supporting joint logistics operations with partner nations.
- Knowledge of the products developed by C2 systems to support the MCPP and systems utilization for current operations.
- Marine Corps Division / MEF level operations/training experience.
- Current operational experience (i.e. OEF/OIF/MEU/ARG/SPMAGTF).
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, and other media type software.
- Understand the MAGTF concept for training MSCs.
- Military: Experience supporting military units, exercise participation, familiarity with USTRANSCOM, knowledge of systems and processes, understanding of joint logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Instructional Experience: Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs to adult learners.
- Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles: Familiarity with adult learning theories and best practices in instructional design.
- Platform Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver instruction in a variety of settings, including classroom, online, and field environments, logistics training curricula, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and industry best practices
- Curriculum Development Experience: Experience in developing and reviewing training curriculum is highly desirable.
- Develop and deliver engaging and informative training programs on logistics and supply chain management principles, processes, and procedures.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methodologies, including lectures, discussions, case studies, simulations, and practical exercises.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain current knowledge of logistics best practices and emerging trends.
- Develop and update training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and handouts.
- Mentor and coach senior staff members.
- Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
- May be required to lift awkward sized items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work an unstable schedule, to include holidays and weekends.
- May be required to work in inclement temperatures from 100 degrees to -25 degrees.
- Occasional travel will be required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider.
- Secret security clearance is required for this position.
