Your new role entails:

• Partner with Private Wealth Management business and control partners (Compliance, Legal) to ensure regulatory controls and governance frameworks are effectively implemented.
• Perform daily supervisory and trade-based surveillance reviews to ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures.
• Identify internal breaches or control weaknesses, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare documentation to report and escalate issues and exceptions to senior management.
• Oversee and manage outsourced surveillance teams to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in banking or project management, preferably in risk or compliance functions.
• Strong proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of programming (macros/Python) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and banking products is advantageous.
