Description

We are currently partnering with a mid-sized European bank who are looking to hire a Financial & Regulatory Reporting candidate into their team - this will be on an initial 1-year Fixed Term basis.

This role will be responsible for supporting the following:

• Prepare and submit MAS regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Assist in audit preparation and coordination with external auditors
• Support tax preparation and filing requirements in collaboration with the tax team
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives

To be eligible for this role you will require

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in finance or accounting roles, within Banking
• Strong background in financial reporting and regulatory reporting
• Proficient in month-end close and financial statement preparation
• Willing and able to commit to a 1-year fixed term contract (with potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment, though not guaranteed)
