Project Overview:

COTS is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Environmental Consultant for a contract-based roles supporting a facility renovation project.  This role plays a key role in ensuring environmental compliance and promoting sustainable practices and assist in meeting regulatory requirements throughout the duration of the project.

 Scope of Work:

The selected contractor will be responsible for:

•         Conducting environmental assessments and audits.
•         Developing and implement environmental management plans.
•         Providing advice on environmental regulations and policies.
•         Preparing reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
•         Analyzing data related to pollution and other environmental hazards.
•         Collaborating with stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions.
•         Conducting fieldwork and site investigations.
•         Performing risk assessments for various environmental factors.
•         Assisting in obtaining environmental permits and licenses.
•         Delivering presentations and training on environmental issues and best practices.
•         Staying updated on environmental laws, regulations, and trends.

 Contract Term: 

This is a contract-based position with an initial term of up to one (1) year, with the potential for extension based on project progress and completion.

 Minimum Qualifications: 

•         Master’s degree in environmental science or related field.
•         Certification in environmental auditing or management.
•         Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
•         Previous consulting experience.
•         Strong background in environmental legislation.
•         Proficiency in data analysis and environmental modeling software.
•         Excellent project management skills.
•         Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
•         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•         Effective Written and verbal communication abilities.
•         Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
