What the day will look like

Based within Griffiths & Armour's Professional Risks Division, the role will consist of:

• Reading and reviewing contracts (largely construction contracts) for Griffiths & Armour's clients.
• Providing advice, assistance and recommendations to Griffith & Armour's clients in relation to those contracts.
• Providing support to client facing brokers within the business.
• Building relationships with clients.
• Getting involved in drafting, developing and delivering risk management literature, statistics and presentations.
• Carrying out other duties and jobs which management may, from time to time, reasonably require.

Full training will be provided, but legal experience is a requirement .

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisation skills (including the ability to effectively manage own workload)
• Disciplined, conscientious approach to work
• Ability to manage time well and prioritise tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong legal experience and/or legal qualifications
• Ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately
• Proficient Microsoft Office
• Excellent team player
• Experienced in a client facing role
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A demonstrable interest in construction law and/or the construction industry
• Knowledge of legal/engineering language
• Business awareness
