Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support our member in Ann Arbor. This position will last 10-12 weeks. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing skills, confidence conducting in-person interviews, and familiarity with UKG’s talent platform (preferred but not required). This role will support recruitment for both union and nonunion positions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Post open positions and manage requisitions within our applicant tracking system (UKG experience preferred)
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, networking, and proactive outreach
• Schedule and conduct in-person interviews with candidates
• Provide hiring recommendations to the HR Manager based on interview evaluations
• Coordinate onboarding paperwork and processes in partnership with the HR Assistant
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation throughout the recruitment cycle
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience at every stage

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a recruiter, talent acquisition specialist, or similar role
• Experience with UKG Talent Acquisition strongly preferred
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines
• Experience supporting both union and nonunion hiring is a plus
• Excellent communication, organization, and followthrough

• Contract duration: 10-12 weeks
• On-site presence required for in-person interviews and collaboration with HR team
