Description

The Montana Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (MVDL) invites applicants for temporary, part-time contract positions in anatomic pathology.  These contract positions are available immediately.

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include reading histology slides from biopsy service, “mail-in” field necropsies, and in-house necropsies, and generation of client reports.  Histology sections may be provided either as glass slides or via digital pathology.  The caseload is varied across domestic and non-domestic species, and will be dependent on incoming samples and availability of permanent staff and contract pathologists.  Compensation will be based on a case-equivalent system.  Some degree of client consultation may also be required, as needed.
