NeoGenomics is looking for a Buyer who wants to learn to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is a remote position with a Monday Friday, day shift.

Position Summary:
As a Buyer you are responsible for purchasing direct and indirect goods/service based on purchase type and/or assigned location(s). You will collaborate with both Inventory Management and Sourcing program functions and assures materials are purchased and delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- The Buyer will process requisitions to purchase orders for direct and indirect goods & service for the assigned locations, obtain confirmations, ETA's and assures good/services are delivered in a timely manner. Review weekly/monthly/dashboards.
- Process requisitions for FDA related items as per required procedures.
- Works with and collaborates the inventory management team to ensure deliveries satisfy the inventory needs and report any back order information.
- Investigates and resolves PO issues, works collaboratively with both internal and external points of contacts.
- Resolves receipt and Invoice holds in the system.
- Generate, monitors and publishes metrics for the purchase to pay process, metric examples, open PO's, past due PO's, receipts holds, Invoice holds, Invoice date prior to PO date, etc.
- Analyze data as needed to identify issues/trends relevant to Purchasing program/processes.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred
- At least 1 year purchasing experience required
- Experience in healthcare or clinical lab industry preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, experience working with ERP systems a plus.
