These teams provide the financial fuel that keeps our operation running from providing detailed analyses of financial planning, performance, and forecasts to managing our investments and financial strategies. Our Finance team plays an integral role in making our airline profitable and successful by meeting our financial goals.

Job overview and responsibilities

The primary responsibility for this position is the direct tactical procurement of aircraft and engine spare parts inventory that the Technical Operations team has identified and requires. Works directly with key supply and distribution personnel and sources material from external suppliers who supply these parts

• Assist in sourcing of Aircraft and engines components
• Support in negotiating prices and conditions to arrange for the delivery of parts and monitors suppliers' performance
• Expedites the ordering and parts delivery process using SCEPTRE
• Participates in developing purchasing strategies that reduce United's costs and Ensure compliance with all financial controls, including SOX compliance
• Assures invoice payment by monitoring the procurement process from initiation of a purchase order through the receipt of the engine parts and billing from the external supplier

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, finance, accounting or supply management
• 1+ years experience in Procurement of Aircraft spares and components
• Sourcing, Negotiation, Supply Chain Management
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
