Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Loan Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and tailored financial solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking business loans.This role involves managing the loan application process for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing expert advice, and facilitating loan transactions.The Business Loan Executive will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Advisory & Consultation:
Advise SMEs on various loan products and financial solutions that best suit their business needs, ensuring they receive the most appropriate financing options. - Loan Application Management:
Oversee the preparation and processing of loan applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information are collected and accurate. - Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with SME clients, offering continuous support and guidance throughout the loan process. - Risk Assessment & Due Diligence:
Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of loan applicants, including reviewing financial statements, business plans, and other relevant documents to evaluate creditworthiness. - Loan Structuring & Negotiation:
Collaborate with clients to structure loan terms and conditions, ensuring both the clients' and company's interests are met. Negotiate terms as required to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including credit, legal, and operations, to ensure timely approval and disbursement of loans. - Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all loan transactions comply with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of loan documentation and client interactions. - Market Research & Trends:
Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and economic conditions affecting SMEs, offering insights to help optimize loan offerings and services.
- Min Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in SME lending, banking, or financial services, with a strong understanding of business loan products and financing options.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to business lending.
- Client-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
