The Business
This business, a well-regarded and long-established national financial services firm, is growing its business nationally. Entrepreneurial, nimble and flexible, they are progressive in their approach, particularly when it comes to career progression. They have created a new role within their Sydney office for a Paraplanner to provide support to a growing advice team and their expanding client base.
About the Role
This role is, in the first instance, a Paraplanner and is needed to support existing advisers whilst the business focuses its energy on building and expansion. You will be looking after complex and interesting plans and work closely with the external paraplanning team to ensure that the documents prepared for clients are of the highest quality.
The role is a contract position for 6 months with an immediate start.
You will need to:
Work with Senior Advisers and support them in the delivery of high-quality advice
Develop personalised and compliant advice documents
Work with the rest of the team and assist with current backlog of plans
Build and develop trusted and robust relationships with the Sydney team as well as the wider group and key stakeholders within the business
Contribute strongly to the Financial Advisory team and take responsibility for developing bespoke strategies and plans
Work closely with Client Service to ensure the end-to-end delivery to the client is seamless
You will have:
Some experience as a paraplanner and around 2-3 years within a Wealth Management environment
Sound working knowledge of X-plan software
Ability to develop excellent relationships with clients, colleagues, regional offices and external referral partners
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
