Job Description
As a Market Procurement Manager, you will lead the development and execution of advanced category strategies that deliver competitive advantages and align with broader business objectives. You will manage a strategic supplier portfolio exceeding $35M, driving procurement excellence and operational efficiency.
Your role:
Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement advanced category strategies that support business goals and deliver measurable competitive advantages.
Procurement Execution: Oversee end-to-end procurement processes including RFx activities, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage analytics and market intelligence to launch strategic initiatives that reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), enhance profitability, and streamline operations.
Supplier Governance: Define and monitor supplier performance metrics, enforce corrective actions, and ensure compliance with quality standards and evolving technologies.
Market Insight & Collaboration: Analyze market trends to identify sourcing opportunities, collaborate cross-functionally to unlock business value, and negotiate favorable contracts that support strategic priorities.
You're the right fit if:
You hold a bachelor's/ master's degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related field.
You have +5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR +3 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Category Management, Market Analysis, Supplier Negotiations, and Portfolio Optimization.
Your skills include understanding of category management, supplier performance management and strategic sourcing.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN from $ 114,000.00 anually to $ 182,400.00 anually.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
