Job Purpose and Impact
The Warehouse Supervisor and Process Coordinator oversees all warehouse activities on site, including scheduling, execution, and follow-up of Value Added Services (VAS), within an international environment and a global chocolate manufacturing company. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality, efficiency, and financial performance standards. You will monitor the progress of VAS, picking, loading and unloading trucks, as well as all associated documentation. You will also implement measures to ensure efficient and effective warehouse and VAS practices, support improvement initiatives, participate in projects, and deputize for the manager when needed.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor daily warehouse operations, including product handling and storage requirements.
Develop, implement, administer, and evaluate warehouse procedures and policies.
Coordinate warehousing activities with production planning, track production performance indicators, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records, warehouse documentation, and shipments.
Follow up VAS execution and ensure timely completion of tasks such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, and documentation.
Mentor warehouse staff and participate in recruitment and selection processes.
Manage employee welfare, engagement, performance reviews, and training needs.
Ensure all warehouse personnel are trained on required equipment.
Identify operational risks and propose improvements or innovations.
Handle day to day issues and escalate more complex matters when necessary.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in production or logistics.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and an ERP system.
Strong communication skills.
Fluent in two of the three site languages (Dutch, French, English).
Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift certification or practical forklift experience.
Experience in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or inventory management.
Experience using a Plant Information System.
