The Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group, part of J&J Med Tech, is recruiting a Supply Chain Strategy and Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Director, located in Irvine, California.
This is a critical role will drove strong governance across CSS Supply Chain for portfolio management, business planning, supply chain strategy deployment and providing strategic support for our supply chain leadership team. In this role, you will lead a team of direct reports and regularly engage with and make presentations to Senior Management.
This Director will report to the Sr. Director of CSS SC Strategy, Innovation & Deployment, and will be working in strong partnership with Johnson and Johnson Med Tech Supply Chain Strategy team. This role is critical in influencing across the matrixed organization and collaborates with E2E business leaders, functional partners and other Supply Chain leaders to ensure alignment with goals and priorities and drive execution.

Key Role and Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management
Lead a team that manages the SC capital portfolio aligned with strategic priorities and business needs. Facilitate project reviews and approvals through monthly Capital Review Committee (CRC). Monitor and report progress vs. financial commitments through portfolio analytics. Drive actions and accountability across the SC to ensure project portfolio is being executed per plan.
Ensure execution of standardized portfolio management capabilities (including reporting & analytics, project prioritization, resource management) across the CSS SC, identify portfolio management process gaps and opportunity areas and lead initiatives to enhance Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) maturity
Deploy system solutions and tools (e.g. Power BI dashboards, Planisware) to enable and support portfolio management processes, provide training, ensure data accuracy, drive compliance and support day-to-day system usage working with Enterprise portfolio management team
Business Planning
Coordinate and support the Business Planning process for the E2E SC for each financial cycle.
Deploy targets, communicate and educate the SC team on the timeline, templates and tools, ensure timely submission of inputs, facilitate reviews and prepare content to support leadership discussions & alignment
Consolidate investment roadmap and financial projections (e.g. NCC, cost actions, etc.)
Partner with Finance to prepare consolidated reviews for CSS commercial and Med Tech SC leadership
SCLT Strategic Support
Develop annual SC G&Os based on strategic plan & priorities, capability needs and business focus areas, deploy G&Os across the org, pulse progress and facilitate mid-year and year end updates. Provide SC input to CSS LT scorecards
Deploy and execute the SCLT governance, including meeting calendars and cadence, issue agenda, gather and track action items
Plan and facilitate monthly and quarterly F2F meetings, gather, organize and share content through team’s SharePoint
Qualifications
Requirements Skills:
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Plant Operations, Supply Chain and/or Strategic Planning
Experience leading preparation for and execution of business planning processes.
High proficiency in PowerPoint, Visio and other communications software
Demonstrated experience in running large-scale projects in a matrix format is required
Executive stakeholder management & the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and influence decision-making across a matrix organization is required
An ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company and across our global supply chain organization is required
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in designing and deploying productivity improvement initiatives
Deep understanding of the process excellence tool set (LEAN, Six Sigma) with a consistent track record of deploying these tools to improve operational performance
Experience in supply chain strategy role preferred.
Med Tech Supply Chain Operations experience preferred
Process excellence certification and /or Six Sigma black belt certifications and/or PMP certifications are preferred
OTHER:
Requires up to 10% traveling.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 142,000 to 244,950.
