Are you a licensed doctoral-level psychologist with forensic or public safety evaluation experience?
The FMRT Group is seeking dedicated professionals to conduct a variety of critical evaluations, including pre-employment, fitness for duty, and other related evaluations of safety-sensitive candidates and personnel in our Greenville, NC office.
This role provides an opportunity to advocate for the well-being and consciousness of our public safety personnel while fostering connections with fellow psychology professionals who share similar values.
The FMRT Group has been dedicated to supporting public safety departments across the Southeast for the past 20 years. We specialize in conducting high-quality psychological and medical evaluations for safety-sensitive employers—both pre- and post-hire. To date, our team of licensed psychologists and advanced practice providers has conducted over 115,000 evaluations, and we currently serve more than 730 public safety agencies. The FMRT Group is a highly respected organization specializing in psychological services tailored to the needs of law enforcement agencies and various institutions. Our mission is centered around supporting the mental health, psychological resilience, and wellness of law enforcement officers, all while actively contributing to the creation of safer communities. We achieve this by delivering services tailored to address the unique challenges faced by those in law enforcement professions.
Our infrastructure is designed to allow clinicians to focus solely on their clinical work—without the burden of administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, or marketing. In addition, we provide annual APA-accredited continuing education specific to police and public safety psychology, creating space for professional development and networking with our team and other experts in the field.
FMRT’s model offers a part-time/contract commitment (as little as once or twice per week) that often complements other professional obligations. Key Details:
- Administrative Burden: Minimal paperwork, with no on-call obligations
- Benefits: Flexible schedule, continuing education opportunities, networking
- Compensation: $2k - $4k per month
- Job type: Contract
- Workload: Four to twelve evaluations, scheduled one to two days per week during regular business hours.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- NC-licensed, doctoral-level psychologist (required)
- PsyPact (preferred)
- Experience in forensic or public safety is preferred
- Psychological Testeing: One year (preferred)
